The Course Details

Using still photography in 35mm and moving 16mm Images, Maged Nader is telling a story about a young man longing for companion and communicating. In a homage to two of cinema masters (Ingmar Bergman and Chris Marker).
Maged will be describing how the whole project starts and the Visual and artistic choices that he takes during the process of making Fathy doesn't live here anymore

     

Instructor Maged Nader / Filmmaker

Maged Nader, born in 1990 in Cairo, Egypt, is a filmmaker and program director. He graduated from High Cinema Institute at the Academy of Arts, Cairo, in 2011. He has directed two short films: DAILY VISIT and TAWASOL. He studied camera and hand processing super 8 and 16mm film in workshops at Cimatheque Alternative Film Centre in Cairo. Nader directed a music video in super 8 and digital formats, in addition to CORNER, another short film shot on 16mm. Now, he is working as a program coordinator at Cimatheque Cairo.
